Goldson Spine’s Community Partner’s is excited to welcome entrepreneur and CEO of Innovative Arts, Tracy Ann Simmonds to our program. Join us on WAVS 1170 AM radio station at 12:20 PM, on Saturday, March 18th.

Tracy Ann Simmonds designed the “Innovative Arts” brand out of her incessant desire to express creativity in the visual arts. She received her B.A. in Photography from Columbia College Chicago in 2006 and says, “I discovered that spending 10 hours at a time in dark rooms became my therapy & telling visual stories brought an invigorating breath of fresh air into my life”. Her love & appreciation for fine art mediums, as well as communication, leads her to think outside of the box when it comes to creating products her clients rave about. Specializing in wedding photography, quality is her number one priority & her company’s philosophy is that photography lives in print. Visual art including photographic prints are the historical evidence of our cultural livelihood & it is Tracy Ann’s mission to ensure that our memories live on to be passed down to curious future generations. She captures weddings using a mix of documentary, fashion & editorial styles of photography with emphasis on emotional connections. “My goal is to not only capture you in all of your wedding glory, but to accurately display the inspirational love story that begins your new life of love & unity as one”. She also has an original art series called “The Vision Project”, a mixed media portrait series on women of color. A portion of the proceeds from her art sales goes to The Tom Joyner Foundation’s Art Scholar fund which helps keep young black artists in HBCUs.

Brief History: I started taking clients while I was still in school in Chicago doing every & anything dealing with photography. I’ve done interiors, architecture, products, children, night life, graduations, events, restoration I mean everything. Then when I shot my first wedding I became terribly mortified by them, I mean my first Bride was very dark with a bald head and wore tangerine tafetta while she married a very pale Irish man with rosacea in a small dark chapel! That was 12 years ago, thank God for second chances. I was asked to capture a friend’s destination wedding in Fort Meyers 3 years ago and fell in love with the wedding world.
