Dr. Richard Desir, DC
Dr. Richard Desir was born in Long Island New York, and grew up in Haiti. He returned to the United States at the age of 17, in pursuit of higher education. He then earned his Bachelors in Biology at Barry University. Although he had always been fascinated by the human body and its wonders, Dr. Desir favored a more natural and holistic approach to health. It was during his sophomore years as an undergrad that he had the privilege of being introduced to chiropractic care and its philosophy. After earning his B.S degree he enrolled at Palmer College where he studied Chiropractic care for three and half years.
He mastered many prominent techniques such as Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson and Activator, thus he is able to work with a wide variety of patients. Dr. Desir is also fluent in three prominent languages; English, French and Creole. I have a history of being very involved my community especially in time of need. On August 2010, I was part of a missionary crew that was sent to Les Cayes, Haiti in order to aid those that were devastated be the earthquake that ravaged the area. That experience marked a significant turning point in my life in the way it helped me grew fundamentally not just as a human being but as someone who would touch the life of many others over the years to come.
