It ads in the production of acids in the stomach which help breakdown foods so the nutrients can be absorbed in the small intestines. B12 is used to treat pernicious anemia and provides energy. The best route of admission is intramuscular or subcutaneous.
The pill form of B12 works just as well and should be taken at least once per day. B12 is also a top player in the recent “vitamin weight loss” cocktails used by a variety of doctors in the field of medicine.
