Pam Keith was born in Ankara, Turkey, November 3, 1968 to Kenton Keith (a career diplomat) and Brenda Ayo Keith. Her father Kenton Keith later became U.S. Ambassador to Qatar. She attended University of California, Davis. Graduated with a B.A. in Rhetoric and Communication, 1990 and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Communication, 1992. Ms. Keith later graduated from Boston College Law School with J.D., in 1995.
Pam Keith commissioned into U.S. Navy as an Ensign, October 1992, served as Defense Counsel at Navy Legal Services Office, Norfolk, VA, 3/1996-3/1997, served as Officer in Charge of Legal Services Office Detachment, ASU Bahrain 3/1997-11/1998, and also served as Staff Judge Advocate, Navy Computers and Telecommunications Command, Washington DC 11/1998-12/1999. She was promoted to terminal rank of Lieutenant Commander while in reserve status.
Ms. Keith’s work experience includes; Associate, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLC, Washington DC Office, 1/2000-10/2002; Associate, Jones Day, Washington DC Office, 10/2002-7/2007; Of Counsel, Ogletree Deakins, Indianapolis and Chicago Offices, 7/2007-3/2011; and Senior Labor Counsel, NextEra Energy/Florida Power & Light Co., Juno Beach, FL, 4/2011-9/2014.
